The Labasa Cane Producers' Association (LCPA) is a producer organization operating under Fair Trade International certification (FLO ID 25351) and adhering to the standards set by the Network of Asia and Pacific Producers (NAPP). Our mission aligns with the principles outlined in the Fiji Constitution, aiming to collaborate with other stakeholders within the Fijian sugar industry to support sugarcane growers in the Northern Division of Fiji. Comprising more than 3000 sugarcane growers organized into 10 different sectors, LCPA is dedicated to providing assistance to its members through community projects, social benefits, and initiatives aimed at enhancing both the quality and productivity of cane production.

A progressive Association, with sister organization's in other cane mill centers, which allows Gangs and its members to develop their potential to decide on their future through capacity building and adopting best agricultural practices.
Our Mission
To facilitate fairer trading conditions, alleviating poverty andstrengthening the Producers’ position in agriculture. In order to achieve this, the Labasa Cane Producers` Association will form partnerships for change and development through propagation and empowerment of its members.

PRODUCTION
The sugarcane is harvested and transported to FSC for processing
FSC
FSC manufactures sugar and pays off to the growers as cane payments. Sugar is ready to be sold
TRADE
The FT-Sugar is sold above the FSC margin, with the surplus constituting the FT sales Premium
LCPA
LCPA receives the FT-Sales (Premium). The development plan is approved at AGM. LCPA acts as per FDP
